A few weeks ago, the scouts found out about one of the best kept secrets in Cincinnati: The Observatory. This gem is home to one of the oldest, functional telescopes in North America. And yes, we got to take this priceless relic for a test drive!
Our instructor was amazing; we put him to the test and he definitely knew his stuff. We learned about the stars, planets, weather, and how time was kept in Cincinnati before the atomic clock. The observatory definitely exceeded expectations.
